An issue arises when attempting to integrate ajax with colorbox

I am currently facing an issue with a WordPress plugin designed for playing videos. It seems that the developer who created it is no longer available, and now the play video button has stopped working. Upon further investigation using Firebug, I noticed that the code is functioning properly up until the "bpl_split_response(response);" line, where Firebug indicates that it is not defined. After checking the AJAX file that is included with the plugin, I could not find any reference to "bpl_split_response". Can anyone provide guidance on where else I should look in order to identify and resolve this problem?

jQuery(document).ready( function() {
    var j = jQuery;
    j("a.link-play").live('click',
        function() {

            var link = j(this).attr('id')
            link = link.split('-');

            j.post( ajaxurl, {
                action: 'link_lightbox',
                'cookie': encodeURIComponent(document.cookie),
                'link_id': link[2]
            },
            function(response)
            {
                var rs = bpl_split_response(response);

                if ( rs[0] >= 1 ) {
                    j.fn.colorbox({
                        html: rs[1],
                        maxWidth: '90%',
                        maxHeight: '90%'
                    });
                }
            });

            return false;
        }
    );
});

bpl_split_response is a function that appears to be missing from the current JavaScript files included on this page. It seems like the file containing this function has either been deleted or removed, causing it to no longer be accessible.

It's important to note that this function operates on the response obtained through AJAX calls, rather than being a part of the response itself. This means that you may need to track down the original code or attempt to recreate it if possible.

Wishing you success in resolving this issue :)
