angular-chart custom tooltip positioning issue

Hello everyone! I'm having trouble fixing the tooltip position when hovering over a point. I've searched through various posts on StackOverflow and have tried all the examples provided in my implementation:

https://github.com/chartjs/Chart.js/tree/master/samples/tooltips

Unfortunately, the position is still not working correctly. Here is a Plunker showcasing my issue:

Answer №1

To modify the script.js file, replace lines 63 and 64 with the following:

tooltipEl.style.left = position.left + tooltip.x + 'px';
tooltipEl.style.top = position.top + tooltip.y + 'px';
