Bot in discord.js refuses to exit voice channel


I've been struggling to get my bot to leave the voice channel despite trying multiple methods. Here's what I've attempted in the source code: 
Discord.VoiceConnection.disconnect();

Although this is the current code, I have also tested:

message.member.voice.channel.disconnect()
message.member.voice.channel.leave()
message.member.voiceChannel.disconnect()
message.member.voiceConnection.leave()
message.member.voiceChannel.leave()
...and so on.

The reason why I opted for VoiceConnection.disconnect() over other options is because a previous function using connection.disconnect(); worked fine in making the bot leave. After tracing back where connection originated from, it led me to VoiceConnection, hence attempting Discord.VoiceConnection. However, the bot still refuses to depart. Currently, I am using v12. Any suggestions or assistance would be greatly appreciated.

For those utilizing the standard discord.js library for voice features,

message.guild.me.voice.channel.leave()

should do the trick. This line targets the current voice channel of the bot and exits it.

However, if you're using the @discordjs/voice package instead, you'll need to employ

voice.getVoiceConnection(`guild_id`).disconnect();

message.guild.me.voice.channel.leave();

The message.guild.me refers to the Bot's Member Object within this specific guild, allowing you to access the channel and initiate a departure from it.
