Collection of categories within the drop-down menu

I'm currently utilizing Twitter Bootstrap and would like to create a collection of concealed fields within a dropdown menu:

<li class="dropdown">
  <a class="dropdown-toggle" data-toggle="dropdown" href="#">
    Export
    <b class="caret bottom-up"></b>
  </a>
  <ul class="dropdown-menu bottom-up pull-right">
    <li><a id="downloadJsonButton">Link1</a></li>
    <div id="downloadFormFilesDiv">
      <li class="divider"></li>
      <li><a id="downloadXformsButton">Link2</a></li>
      <li><a id="downloadXmlButton">Link3</a><br /></li>
    </div>
  </ul>
</li>

Nevertheless, the links inside the div element have a different appearance compared to those outside of it. I would like all the links (including Links: 2 and 3) to look consistent, similar to Link1. Is there any way to achieve this?

Answer №1

.menu-item{
width: 300px;
height: 70px;
background-color: #000;
color: white;
}

Now the menu items have the same appearance for linked and non-linked content.

If you remove the div between <li> tags, it would be considered an illegal use of the element. I hope this information was useful to you.
