customizable options in user interface navigation version 1.0

The latest release of UI-Router1.0.0-alpha.1 by Christopher Thielen introduced dynamic parameters. From what I understand, when a parameter is set to be dynamic, changing it from the controller should also update the URL. However, despite trying various methods, I have not been successful in making this work. It seems that there is no binding between $state.params.myParam and $stateParams.myParam.

Could someone provide a working example or confirm if this feature is not functioning as expected?

Thank you

To truly alter the dynamics, it is necessary to do more than just modify the dynamic parameter. The location shifts occur during state transitions, whether through the use of ui-sref or $state.go().

When transitioning to the current state where the only alterations are in parameters designated as dynamic, the controller remains unchanged.

For instance:

$stateProvider.state({
  name: 'profile',
  url: '/profile/:dynamicParam',
  template: profileTemplate,
  controller: profileController,
  params: {
    dynamicParam: {
      dynamic: true
    }
  }
});

To update the parameter, utilize:

ui-sref=".({ dynamicParam: updatedVal })"
or
$state.go('.', { dynamicParam: updatedVal })
