Export the Excel file with hyperlinks to HTML format so that they can be easily opened in a file explorer instead of a web browser

I've got an excel spreadsheet that contains links to local folders. In order to optimize its compatibility with various devices, I convert it to HTML format. Everything seems to be working smoothly, except for one minor issue - when clicking on the links, they open in a web browser instead of Windows File Explorer. I understand that HTML doesn't directly open applications, but I'm unsure if opening a local folder with Windows File Explorer would be considered as launching an app, or if there's something I'm overlooking.
