Facing compatibility problems with JavaScript and Cascading Style Sheets in Google Chrome?

Welcome to the site . Let's address a couple of issues with JavaScript and CSS:

Firstly, the JS code seems to be malfunctioning only in Chrome, throwing an error that reads: 'Uncaught TypeError: Object [object Object] has no method 'on prijava:142'.

Secondly, there is a CSS problem where the arrow in the top right corner should be in front but appears behind in Chrome. The CSS code for this section needs to be reviewed to resolve this particular issue.

Below you can find the CSS and HTML codes related to the problematic areas. I'm puzzled as to why these discrepancies are occurring specifically in Chrome, while other browsers seem to function correctly. Could it be some sort of dark magic or is Chrome just being difficult?

Answer №1

When inspected in Chrome, the variable you have named name is displaying as a string with the value of "[object Object]". This anomaly occurs before the variable is assigned the value found via .find("#ime"). It appears to be a result of global scoping. I suggest renaming the variable to a less generic name to avoid this issue.
