Having difficulty choosing an element with protractor's virtual repeat functionality

Initially, I successfully used ng-repeat to select an element. However, the developers have since implemented virtual repeat which has caused the following code to stop working:

expect(stores.listStores(0).getText()).toContain('Prahran');
expect(element.all(by.repeater('store in ui.stores')).count()).toEqual(1);

An error occurred: Index out of bound. The attempt was made to access an element at index 0, but there are no elements matching the locator by.repeater("store in ui.stores").

Answer №1

If you want to target the material design repeater components with a CSS selector, you can use this code snippet:

element.all(by.css('[md-virtual-repeat="item in ui.items"]'));
