Having trouble loading image on web application

Currently, I am facing an issue while attempting to add a background image to an element within my Angular web application. Strangely enough, the relative path leading to the image seems to be causing my entire app to break.

Interestingly, in the HTML code of this particular component, there is another image that successfully loads using the same relative path (as both files are located within the same folder).

<img src="../../assets/images/img1.jpg">

Answer №1

It appears that your path may be incorrect. Please make sure to specify the correct path as shown below:

.info {
   background-imgae: url('assets/images/geometry.png')
}

Similarly, for your other image, ensure that you write your code like this:

<img src="assets/images/img1.ong">

Answer №2

To find what you're looking for, try navigating back one more folder:

<img src="../../../assets/images/img1.jpg">

As it stands, you are currently inside the app's folder, while the assets folder is located outside of it.
