I am working with a typescript file named file1.ts

In addition, I have another file called index.js

Furthermore, there is a script defined in the package.json file:
"run": "node index.js"
My main question is how can I execute the function from the ts file within the index.js file.
If you need to import a ts or es file into a js file for execution with Node, it's important to transpile the imported files into JavaScript on the fly. One way to achieve this is by using the babel-register plugin.
To include babel-register in your index.js file, simply add the following:
require('babel-register')({
plugins: [/* List of plugins */],
cache: process.env.NODE_ENV !== 'development'
});
If you are using babel.rc, you can skip including the plugins here and instead utilize the @babel/preset-typescript plugin to transpile ts files into js.

You can import exported values from a ts file just like you would do from any other file.

Utilizing dynamic imports allows scripts to load other scripts when necessary:
