How to Implement Drupal.behaviors for Specific Pages?

Currently, I have a module that showcases an alert to users within a block. For those interested, you can find my code on GitHub here:

https://github.com/kevinquillen/User-Alerts

If you would like more information about the module and its functionality, please visit the module page:

Lately, I have been tackling some of the issues in the queue. One specific issue I aimed to resolve was ensuring the module could still operate seamlessly with Block Cache and/or Boost enabled. A user reported an incident where closing the message for one user resulted in it being closed for all visitors, possibly due to caching mechanisms at play.

To address this, I implemented a Drupal.behavior to detect an active alert upon page load. However, I am currently exploring ways to trigger this behavior only when the block is visible based on its visibility settings. For example, if the block is set to display only on the front page, the behavior should only activate on the front page to prevent unnecessary overhead on other pages.

Ensure that your block's CSS class is present before making an AJAX call. Consider adding a specific class for this purpose to streamline the process. Remember, if the class exists, your block exists.
