Images in assets folder are not showing up in Vue Bootstrap

I'm attempting to showcase an image similar to the example provided in this guide

Below is the code I am using:

<template>
     <b-container fluid class="p-4 bg-dark">
     <b-row>
     <b-col>
      <b-img rounded="circle" thumbnail fluid src="require('../assets/sweetcart.jpg')" alt="Thumbnail" />
    </b-col>
    <b-col>
      <b-img rounded="circle" thumbnail fluid src="https://picsum.photos/250/250/?image=58" alt="Thumbnail" />
    </b-col>
    <b-col>
      <b-img rounded="circle" thumbnail fluid src="https://picsum.photos/250/250/?image=59" alt="Thumbnail" />
    </b-col>
    </b-row>
    </b-container>
    </template>

Here is my current file structure. While I believe the image path is correct since I was able to display the image within its own div tag, there may be a Bootstrap-related issue at play.

The work is being done within the Home.vue file.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

Answer №1

After moving the image from the assets folder to the static folder, I was able to successfully resolve the issue.

I'm puzzled as to why it didn't work when the image was in the assets folder. Any insights on this?
