Is the Kendo Spreadsheet supported in Angular 2?

We are interested in knowing if future releases of Angular2 will include Kendo Spreadsheet or the ability to export data to Excel for the grid. We currently use the Angular1 version and would like to upgrade, so having these features available in Angular2 would be ideal.

To see an example of the grid functionality, you can click here

For a demonstration of the Spreadsheet feature, you can visit

If these features are not included in Angular2, is there a way to integrate a spreadsheet into an Angular2 application?

Answer №1

Regardless of the Angular version you are using, accessing methods in another script can be achieved using Angular 2 in the following manner:

<script src="js/jquery.min.js"></script>
<script src="js/jszip.min.js"></script>
<script src="js/kendo.all.min.js"></script>

To access these scripts, include them in your index.html and utilize declare to create a variable of type any within your service.

import { Injectable } from '@angular/core';

declare graphs: any;
// 'graphs' signifies the imported scripts from index.html

@Injectable()
export class GraphService {

  constructor() { }

  dosomethingWithgraphs(){
   graphs.methods(); // Accessing its methods
   graphs.properties; // Accessing its properties
  }
}
