Is there a way to prevent the imported JQuery from causing issues with current code implementations?

Being a novice developer in Html/Javascript/CSS/Jquery coding, I recently encountered an issue while integrating Jquery into my project. When I imported Jquery, the styling of simple buttons went haywire. Jquery worked perfectly fine when using its classes to style objects.

However, since the rest of the project required maintaining the existing styles, I am puzzled as to what could be going wrong. I have checked the objects for classes and confirmed that they do not have any, ruling out a CSS issue.

I have pinpointed the error to a specific screenshot, but even after close inspection, I cannot seem to figure it out. It appears to be a simple mistake that I have overlooked, yet I am unable to identify it.

Please disregard the class="ui-content" and class="ui-button-text" testing; I experimented with them to see if any changes would occur (none did).

To identify the elements with incorrect styling, use your browser's developer tools for inspection. The main styling present in this case is in jquery.mobile-1.4.5.min.css, so that’s a good place to start investigating. It's possible that you accidentally removed a link tag to your stylesheet.
