Making an HTTP POST request in AngularJS

Upon sending a POST request with headers specified as content-type: application/JSON, the cookie is not being set in the Request Headers. However, when I modify the headers to be

content-type: application/x-www-form-urlencoded
, the cookie is successfully set in the Request Headers. It's worth noting that the server does accept the application/JSON format. Furthermore, I have already included with-credentials: true on the client side.
