Modifying the font style and color of text within the table header - Material Table version 0.19.4

Recently, I began using React and Material UI but have encountered an issue with modifying the color and font of text in the table header. Despite attempting to override it, the default style remains unchanged. It has been mentioned that utilizing "headerStyle" (object) can alter the header's styling. Could someone provide assistance by recommending specific properties that need to be adjusted to resolve this?

Answer №1

Just reviewed your code and found that adding the className worked perfectly.

<TableHeader className="table-header">

You can now customize the styling to suit your requirements, for example:

.table-header{
   background: #f0f0f0 !important;
}

.table-header th {
   color: green !important
}

This method effectively changes the background and heading colors of the table!
