What is the best way to store the content of a textarea in JSON format?
I am currently working on a project where I have a textarea element and I need to save its value into a JavaScript object.
Everything is functioning correctly except when 'enter' (line break) is pressed. How can I save the text with line breaks and retrieve it as such?
To save the data, use the following code:
dataObject[0]["Category"][0]["Category"] = $('textarea').val();
Employed this script to convert it into HTML format
const newContent = $('.inputBox').val(); //fetch value
newContent = newContent.replace(/\r?\n/g, '<br />');
