I am currently in the process of developing an API that is designed to extract data from a MySQL table based on a specific category. The code snippet below represents my current implementation:

Despite my efforts, I have encountered some issues as the code is not functioning as intended. Instead, the following error message is being displayed:

Based on my understanding, the MySQL query itself seems correct since it works properly in PHPMyAdmin. Can anyone identify what mistake I might be making in this scenario?
