When utilizing Laravel serve on port 8000, ensure that Zend Debug or X-debug is deactivated as it can significantly slow down the loading of resources.
While developing in VS Code, try running the command php artisan serve
in the terminal for a quicker experience.
To speed things up, simply close the terminal using CTRL + ~
. This method has proven to be much faster for me.
