Recently, I began the process of migrating a PHP zend based web application to AWS EC2 as I am new to PHP. However, upon trying to log in to the site after completing the migration, I encountered the following error:

The form submitted did not originate from the expected site

The tools stack used for this migration includes:

  • AWS EC2 Linux
  • PHP 7.4
  • Apache Tomcat 2.4

After conducting some investigation, it seems like this issue may be related to a CSRF origin problem, but I am unsure of how to resolve it. If anyone has a solution or suggestion on how to fix this, I would greatly appreciate your input.

As a beginner in PHP development facing a certain issue, I conducted extensive research and tested different solutions until finally discovering the resolution. By switching from HTTP to HTTPS protocol, I successfully resolved the problem.
