Tips for shifting a stuck div 200px upward once the bottom of the page is reached while scrolling:

I've set up a page layout with two columns, one fixed and the other scrollable.

The left column is fixed (containing Google ads) and stays in place as I scroll down the page.

The right column displays posts and scrolls along with the rest of the content.

However, there is a footer positioned after the right column.

This footer spans the entire width of the page.

The issue arises when the footer moves to overlap with the left sidebar upon reaching the bottom of the page.

To resolve this, I want the left sidebar to move 200px upwards when I am within 200px from the end of the page while scrolling down.

It should return to its original position when scrolling back up.

<div id="main">
    <div id="left">Google Ads here</div>
    <div id="right">Content posts here</div>
</div>
<div id="footer">
    Footer content here
</div>

One popular technique utilized by many websites involves incorporating jQuery scroll to dynamically load content.

   $(window).scroll(function(){

        if($(window).scrollTop() + $(window).height() >= $(document).height() - 200){
            adjustSidebarPosition();
        }
    });

   function adjustSidebarPosition(){
    // Custom code to update the position of the sidebar

  }

It's possible to achieve this without using javascript by utilizing plain CSS.
