Troubleshooting Issues with Bootstrap Carousel Functionality

I'm facing some difficulties with the Bootstrap carousel on my website. I have followed all the instructions carefully and researched for solutions, but unfortunately, my carousel is not functioning properly. It seems like everything is set up correctly, so I can't figure out why it's not working. Can someone please help me troubleshoot this issue?

I've been stuck on this problem for a while now and any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance for your help!

To put it simply, the reason your code isn't working is because you forgot to include the jQuery library. The error console is displaying this message:

ReferenceError: $ is not defined

In most cases, this issue can be resolved by loading jQuery in the head section of your HTML document. Here's an example of how to do that:

<link href='https://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Montserrat:400,700' rel='stylesheet' type='text/css'>
<link href='https://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Catamaran:300,400,100' rel='stylesheet' type='text/css'>
<!-- Make sure to include jQuery -->
<script src="https://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/2.1.4/jquery.min.js"></script>

Simply put, vanilla JavaScript doesn't understand this code because it's specific to jQuery syntax:

$(document).ready(function() {
    $('#myCarousel').carousel({
    //options here
    });
});

This means that your carousel won't be loaded or rendered properly, and only the plain HTML will be displayed.

Remember, the sequence matters. Start by adding jquery to your code followed by bootstrap, as anything else will lead to failure.

Here is the proper arrangement:

<script src="https://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.11.2/jquery.min.js"></script>
<script src="https://maxcdn.bootstrapcdn.com/bootstrap/3.3.6/js/bootstrap.min.js" ></script>
