Having both Project 1 and Project 2 in my workspace, I encountered an unusual issue after copying a file, specifically validators/index.ts, from Project 1 to Project 2. Surprisingly, TypeScript compilation went through successfully without showing any errors, even though the files referenced by the copied file using require did not exist.
In essence, the code snippet that triggered this behavior looks something like this:

It's worth noting that despite the absence of the files missing-validator.js and forgot-to-copy-file, the TypeScript compilation proceeded without any errors being flagged.
The main motivation behind transitioning from plain JavaScript to TypeScript was the expectation of catching such errors automatically through the IDE/compiler.
