Ways to bounce back from mistakes in Angular

As I prepare my Angular 5 application for production, one issue that has caught my attention is how poorly Angular handles zoned errors. Despite enabling 'production mode', it appears that Angular struggles to properly recover from these errors. Instead of removing DOM nodes after an error, Angular seems to just keep adding more below.

Although I haven't included any specific code here, I'm curious about the inner workings of Angular and whether there is a way for it to gracefully continue functioning even in the event of a JavaScript error in a production environment.

Is there a solution to this dilemma?

Answer №1

Apologies for the lack of detail in my previous question. If you're curious, you can check out the issue I was talking about here. The issue has been resolved and merged sometime after September. Simply updating @angular/platform-browser to version 5.1.3 solved the problem for me.
