What is the best way to bring in the angular/http module?

Currently, I am creating an application in Visual Studio with the help of gulp and node.

Node organizes all dependencies into a folder named node_modules. During the build process, gulp transfers these dependencies to a directory called libs within wwwroot.

While I have encountered no issues when importing other Angular components, I faced a problem when attempting to import:

import { Http, Response, RequestOptions, Headers, HTTP_PROVIDERS} from 'angular2/http';

Upon loading the page, I received a 404 error indicating that the system was attempting to load angular/http from

http://localhost:8273/angular2/http
.

I am currently using Angular2 beta8 and targeting es5 to resolve existing problems.

Could you advise me on how to eliminate the 404 error? Where can I adjust the configuration so that it looks for the http js file under the libs/angular folder?

I attempted directly typing this into the import statement, but unfortunately, I kept receiving "not found" errors.

To properly utilize Angular 2, make sure to include the http.dev.js file located in the node_modules/angular2/bundles directory within your HTML main file:

<script src=" node_modules/angular2/bundles/http.dev.js"></script>
