What kind of data structure is suitable for a MediaStream when passing it as a prop in a Vue component

Currently, I have set up a mediastream (multi WebRTC) and plan on placing each MediaStream into the child component that contains a video tag. The stream type is MediaStream, however there is no corresponding type for a Vue prop. Refer to the Vue documentation for more information.

This is my current code:

props: {
  stream: { default: null, type: MediaStream }
}

The type MediaStream does not seem to exist and results in an error. What would be the correct type to use in this scenario?

Answer №1

While not the ideal method, this workaround manages to function: stream: undefined.
