One-stop shop for organizing import paths

Currently seeking a solution to streamline the management of import paths in Angular 2.0. Ideally, I would prefer to set up the configuration once and then simply reference it as needed, similar to using a variable. For instance:

import { ProductService } from Paths.Product.ProductService;

This setup would enable me to easily relocate the class within the folder structure without having to make multiple modifications throughout the application.

Does anyone know if this type of functionality is available?

Thank you!

To configure path aliases in your TypeScript project, simply update the paths property within the tsconfig.json file:

{
  "compilerOptions": {
    ...
    "baseUrl": ".",
    "paths": {
      "@Alias/*": ["./path/to/alias/*"]
    },
    "rootDir": "."
  }
}

Once configured, you can easily import files from the specified directory using an alias:

import { SomeService } from '@Alias/some-service';

Any changes to the file paths can be made directly in the tsconfig file for quick updates.
